Awesome. I love that film, it has so many brilliant dark parts (witches head collection/rock man wearing the shoes/everyone turned into green things/flying talking bed/these guys) I have the DVD, this has inspired me to watch it again!

I saw Return to Oz when I was about ten. I was a closet fan of The Wizard (although my brother and I always fast-forwarded through ‘Over the Rainbow’ because it was girly and boring) and was excited to see the sequal. It wasn’t what I expect… it was weird and creepy and I’ve not seen it since! But what is the one thing that stands out most clearly? Yep, the Wheelers.

I’ll be the 1st to call for a sequel to this series. I want more eerie child hood memories to come back and haunt me.

I remember going to the Curzon to see Oz and thinking how cool and creepy The Wheelers were. They were like a fucked up gang from The Warriors.
