I was asked by a writer for Smashing Magazine, an online web design mag, to provide a set of illustrations for an article about team management to liven up the text heavy piece. To emphasise the ideas of taking a more relaxed attitude towards management and downtime I suggested depicting a past working environment where such notions would seem extremely new and out of place. I opted for a merry Viking longboat and carried the theme through the accompanying diagrams and even drew Olaf the Awesome’s Facebook profile. Click the image above to see the whole article.
