Adam Cadwell grew up in Rossendale, Lancashire. He always drew pictures of the things he liked and before he knew it he had graduated from the Interactive Arts course at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Since then has been drawing all the time, mainly comics such as the now completed webcomic The Everyday and the slacker vampire comic Blood Blokes and he has been working professionally as an Illustrator since early 2007. Gaining experience by working in-house at advertising agency TBWA\Manchester and then by running commercial art company DRAW, he now works freelance as Cadwell Illustration and is based in Central Manchester.

Cadwell’s comic work has been published by Jonathan Cape, Image Comics, Blank Slate Books, We Are Words + Pictures and Solipsistic Pop. His illustration work has also appeared in magazines such as MOJO, Shortlist, Plus 1, Mustard, Gay Times and Disorder.

Rates

Illustration & Commissions: £40 an hour, plus any usage.
Visualising: £30 an hour/£250 a day.
Storyboards: Per frame, £10 penciled, £15 B&W, £25 colour.
Character Design: This varies greatly, please inquire for a specific quote.
